Finished the journey from St Jean Pied de Port, France to Roncesvalles, Spain in a day, but not well. So taking rest day in Roncesvalles and loving it!
Highlights of yesterday included a meal stop in Orisson (pictured), a large beautiful horse crossing my path at full gallop to join his group… quite a surprise as he bounded over the ridge. The views are amazing. Pilgrims very supportive of each of and fascinating in conversation.
It was a humbling day yet also a day of affirmation. I am thankful to be here and wish I could share it with each of you.
